To Speak a Language of Love

I never considered a foreign language a necessity. I had traveled extensively, and I have to say, except for Cadiz, Spain, I found it perfectly sufficient to survive on butchered Americano.

Recently I discovered, my lineage which  consists of multiple documented, but alien Italians had possibly entitled me to duel citizenship I jumped at the chance. I immediately knew this wasn’t Rome in August. This meant citizenship in a country that 90% of the citizens (outside of the major cities) do not speak English. Considering I was entertaining moving there, this could be a  significant problem.

Thank God for YouTube. I think I now can manage saying,”I can’t speak Italian.” I also know how to order coffee light and sweet! I’m not sure how L’Americano is going to do, but being cute might not cut it.

What motivates you?

The Word “NO”

Many, who deal with me have stated once I put my mind to something, I can be a baby Pitbull blazing forward, hanging on for dear life by my lock jaw, in a quest to be invincible.

I’ve come to the conclusion, you may turn a “no” to a “yes”, but when I do I sometimes my point becomes obscure.

For the last few months, grounded by knee surgery, I am coming around to the idea regardless, some “yeses” should just stay “nos”.

Regardless of success and work on the Y/N dilemma, so shit is just not for you. I can admit an insane endurance for putting up with shitty places, situations and people.

Is making a NO a YES really worth it. If I feel like I am swimming upstream it is because I am.

Rejection is God protection. Love it, learn it, accept it.
